*Men Are Just Happier People**– **What do you expect from such simple
creatures**.** *

*Your last name stays put. *

*The garage is all yours.

Wedding plans take care of themselves.

Chocolate is just another snack.

You can never be pregnant.

The world is your urinal.
You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is
just too icky.

Same work, more pay.

Wrinkles add character.

** Wedding dress $5000.

Tux rental-$100.

People never stare at your chest when you’re talking to them.

New shoes don’t cut, blister, or mangle your feet.

Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.* *

A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.*

*If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.**

Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more
than enough. Everything on your face stays its original color. The
same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck.

*One wallet and one pair of shoes –* *one color for all seasons.

You can wear shorts no* *matter how your legs look. You can ‘do’ your nails with
a pocket knife.

You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December
24 in 25 minutes.*

*No wonder men are happier*.

·        The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337.  A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

ARGUMENTS
·        A woman has the last word in any argument.
·        Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

FUTURE
·        A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
·        A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

SUCCESS

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY …

[Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins ]

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime.

3. When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to STARVE the cancer cells by not feeding it with foods it needs to multiple.

What cancer cells feed on:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Note: Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells will starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells.

To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water–best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines will become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body’s killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body’s own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body’s normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor.

Anger, unforgiving and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

The Empty Chair
A man’s daughter had asked the parish priest to come and pray with her father. When the priest arrived, he found the man lying in bed with his head propped up on two pillows. An empty chair sat beside his bed. The priest assumed that the old fellow had been informed of his visit.

“I guess you were expecting me,” he said.

“No, who are you?” said the father.

The priest told him his name and then remarked, “I see the empty chair; I figured you knew I was going to show up.”

“Oh yeah, the chair,” said the bedridden man. “Would you mind closing the door?”

Puzzled, the priest shut the door.

“I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter,” said the man. “But all of my life I have never known how to pray. At church I used to hear the pastor talk about prayer, but it went right over my head.

“I abandoned any attempt at prayer, until one day about four years ago my best friend said to me, ‘Johnny, prayer is just a simple matter of having a conversation with Jesus. Here is what I suggest: Sit down in a chair and place an empty chair in front of you. In faith see Jesus in that chair. It’s not spooky because he promised: ‘I’ll be with you always.’ Then just speak to him in the same way you’re doing with me right now.’

“So I tried it and I’ve liked it so much that I do it a couple of hours every day. I’m careful though. If my daughter saw me talking to an empty chair, she’d either have a nervous breakdown or send me off to the funny farm.”

The priest was deeply moved by the story and encouraged the old man to continue on the journey. Then he prayed with him, anointed him with oil, and returned to the church. Two nights later the daughter called to tell the priest that her daddy had died that afternoon.

“Did he die in peace?” he asked.

“Yes, when I left the house about two o’clock, he called me over to his bedside, told me he loved me and kissed me on the cheek. When I got back from the store an hour later, I found him dead. But there was something strange about his death. Apparently, just before Daddy died, he leaned over and rested his head in the chair beside the bed. What do you make of that?”

The priest wiped a tear from his eye and said, “I wish we could all go like that.”

5 Simple Ways To Reduce Your Calorie Intake

Going to the gym every morning might not be possible for all of us.
And those guilt provoked
three days/weekend works out is what you try to fit into your busy schedules.
But how helpful are they and more over how loyal are you to them?
So if your lifestyle forces you to
cheat on your exercise routine , here’s what you can do to keep your
weight under control.
We tell you five simple ways to reduce your calorie intake to keep yourself healthy.

Eggs for Breakfast:

Eggs are the perfect breakfast time. For starters,
eggs are loaded with protein which
needs a longer time to get fully digested. Two eggs, when eaten in the boiled or
omelet form, comprise a healthy breakfast, of course, along with a few slices
of whole grain bread. This combination of protein and
complex carbohydrates helps to prevent spikes in blood sugar levels and
keeps the digestive system engaged
for a longer period, preventing you from feeling hungry soon.

Drink water before your meal

Half a glass of water before your meal will fill you up.

This way the  chances of overeating reduce drastically.

This way, you will also reduce the chances of feeling
stuffed post the meal.

Switch to skimmed milk

Replace your regular packet milk to a low calorie skimmed milk.
Add the healthier milk to your morning cup
of java. Another option for you is goat milk as it is tastier and healthier
than the regular high-on-cream milk.

Eat slowly

The elders tell you to chew your food for a specific number of times
before you swallow it.
The trick is that, when you chew your food well, it aids the body in
the digestion process .
Your body understands the food well and you land up eating almost
half of what you would normally eat.
Ideally, one should spend a minimum of 20 minutes over each meal.

Select smaller portions
When eating out eat only half the portion of what has been served
to you. Share the meal with your partner.
Outside foods normally come in large portions and added ingredients
like soda and Ajinomoto make the food
difficult to digest. So, the next time you go to a deli split your serving
with your partner.

Resist the calorific food
When you next visit a subway avoid adding mayonnaise, cheese to the sub. Initially, the flavour might be difficult
to adjust but eventually you would get used to it. Replace the mayo with mustard. Bread is an integral part of our diet
these days, switch to a lighter bread that will cut down upto 100 calories at least.
It is always best to carry your own lunch and eat wholesome home cooked food. Eat as many vegetables as you can
and also make sure that you add a lot of colour to your platter. When craving for sweets, avoid chocolates or other desserts,
binge on fruits or yogurts to satisfy the craving. If you follow these few tips while eating, your calorie count will steadily come
under control and you will never have to feel guilty about missing your workout!

Gujarat the Gold mine of India

GUJARAT IN THE NEWS !
According to the August 8 report of the National Council of
Applied Economic Research, the richest city in India is now Surat, ahead of Bangalore and Madras, with an average annual household income of Rs 0.45 million (over  $11,000 per year).

80 per cent of all diamonds sold anywhere in the world are polished in Surat’s 10,000 diamond units.

The only non-Jews in the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem diamond bourse (stock exchange)  are GUJARATI(Not Gujjus..)

Between 2004-5 and 2007-8 Surat’s middle class doubled in size and its poor reduced by a third.

The fifth richest city in India is now Ahmedabad, ahead of Bombay and Delhi, and miles ahead of Calcutta.

The percentage of man-days lost in Gujarat due to labor unrest is 0.42 per cent, the lowest in India.

Of Gujarat’s 1 8,048 villages, 17,940 have electricity.  Under Chief Minister Modi, the face of industrial Gujarat is changing.

The world’s largest oil refinery is coming up in Jamnagar. Owned by Reliance, it already refines 660,000 barrels of oil a day and will double that this year.

Thirty per cent of India’s cotton is grown in Gujarat, 40 per cent of India’s art-silk is manufactured in Surat, employing 0.7 million people.

The world’s third largest denim manufacturer is Ahmedabad’s  Arvind Mills.

A KPMG report says 40 per cent of India’s pharmacy industry is based in Gujarat with companies like Torrent, Zydus Cadila, Alembic, Dishman and Sun Pharma.

The state of Gujarat’s GDP has been growing at 12 per cent a year for the last 12 years, as fast as China’s.

India’s wealthiest man, Mukesh Ambani of Reliance, is Gujarati.

Forbes says he is the world’s fifth richest man, worth $43 billion.

Azim Premji of Wipro, is Gujarati. He is the world’s 21st richest man, worth $17 billion.

Ten of the 25 richest Indians are Gujarati.  Some of the best business communities in India — Parsis, Jains, Memons, Banias, Khojas and Bohras — speak Gujarati.

The two great leaders of the subcontinent, the Mahatma and the Quaid, were both Gujaratis from trading communities.  One a Bania, the other a Khoja.

Gujaratis number 55 million, five per cent of India’s population living on six per cent of surface area, but hold 30 per cent of all Indian stock.

Gujaratis account for 16 per cent of all Indian exports and 17 per cent of GDP.

…… PROUD TO BE A GUJARATI

Cancer- Cure alternative medicine

Faith- A story
