Army has launched one of the biggest human rescue operations in Uttarakhand. RSS swings into action in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand

In flood-ravaged Uttarakhand, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh cadre has hit the ground running and brought relief to tens of thousands of flood-affected people. Working with the Indian Army, the RSS has contributed greatly to the rescue and relief initiatives.

Communal relief, anyone?

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, on a visit to Uttarakhand, assured all possible help to the flood-ravaged State. During his recent visit to the RSS office in Dehradun, Modi also offered to reconstruct buildings and temples devastated due to the fury of flood.

Modi, who was in Uttarakhand in order to personally look after the rescue operations for pilgrims from his State, was appraised about the rescue work of RSS in various parts of the State in the wake of massive calamity.

RSS activists are providing relief work for people in flood-affected areas. Around twenty RSS teams are working round the clock to better the condition of those affected.

According to Sangh Praant Karyavah Lakshmi Prasad Jaiswal, 19 mini trucks full of relief material have already been sent to Uttarkashi, Joshimath, Guptkashi, Rudraprayag, Ghansali, Chamba, and other places. In addition to this, nearly 20 to 30,000 people have been fed at relief camps.

Sangh workers have also provided 1400 quintal of rice 15 quintal of pulses, 400 quintal of flour, 750 blankets, 300 sarees, among other essential goods.

Jaiswal also expressed his gratitude towards the Uttarakhand Government and the Indian army for providing them with vehicles and helicopters to help the relief effort.

There is a verse in the Holy book of “QURAN” that states “God did not create anything useless in this world”. We sees many things in our daily life that we think are useless but in actual they are not. Here in this article I am going to discuss the top 10 unwanted helpers of human. The ten of most loath full essential for human beings. Normally we consider that creatures, mentioned below, are useless and harmful. But in fact all these things very very essential for human beings.

Here is list of 10 unwanted helpers.

1. House Fly.

House flies are one of the most common insects that carry numerous diseases and germs. They are often a nuisance in residential homes as well as commercial areas. They are very good dirt cleaner. They carries away dirt. They are our unwanted helper. They forces us to remove the dirt.

2. Vultures.

Vulture is a large bird, usually without feathers on it’s head or neck. They eat flesh or animals that are already dead. They are also our unwanted helpers, because they do not let the dead bodies to be stingy.

3. Crocodile.

Crocodiles are considered to be the deadliest animal in the world. In spite of their deadly nature crocodiles clean the atmosphere. They eats up the dead bodies and excrete.

4. Beetles.

Beetles is normally considered a useless insect but you will wonder to know that 80% of flowers cannot germinate into fruit without this unwanted helper.

5. Lice.

Lices are small insects that live on the scalp and lay eggs on the hair. Lice causes an itchy scalp. They are found in the hair on the head and some other parts of the body. They are often spread among school children by close contact, clothing, or hairbrushes. They compel us to remain clean.

6. Crow.

The crow is one of the cleverest bird. Crow is often quite fearless, although it can be wary of us. It is also one of an unwanted helper. It carries away dirt and converts it into fertilizer.

7. Lion.

The second-largest living cat after the tiger. It helps ill and injured animals to end their agony.

8. Mosquito.

You will surely surprise to know that a mosquito is in the list of deadliest animals around the world. Normally a mosquito is very energetic in spreading disease but as an unwanted helper it force us to keep our environment dry and clean.

9. Snake.

Another one of the deadliest animal. It is not only dangerous for human but also help them to prevent them by plague. Because it eat the most dangerous species of rats which cause Plague.

10. Bugs.

Bugs are at No. 10 in our list of unwanted helpers. They forced us to keep our sleeping places (Beds) clean.

A dervish was once sitting alone, meditating in a patch of desert. A ruler passed by. The dervish, being free from the cares of this world, neither lifted his head nor paid any attention. The ruler, with the violent pride of power, was furious and said: “These dervishes in their patched cloaks are no better than animals!”

His minister scolded the dervish and said: “The great ruler of all the world passed by and you did not stand and bow: why were you so rude?”

The dervish replied: “Tell your king to expect those people to bow who hope for some reward from him. Tell him that rulers are there to protect their people. The people were not created just to obey rulers. The ruler is the watchman of the poor, though he has greater wealth and glory. The sheep are not made for the shepherd, rather the shepherd is there to serve the sheep. Look around you: today you see one man carefree and successful, the other struggling sore-hearted to survive. Wait a day or two, and see how the earth devours the brain once troubled with so many foolish thoughts! When the irresistible decrees of Fate are issued, neither king nor slave remain. Open up the tomb and search these dusty bones: can you tell which was the rich man or which was the pauper?”

The ruler was struck by the words of the dervish. He said: “Ask me a favour!”

The dervish replied: “I would ask you to never disturb me again.”

The king begged: “Give me a word of advice!”

The dervish replied: “Now that wealth is in your hands, realize before it is too late, that this wealth and this power pass from hand to hand.”
