Significance of Laksharchana to
Sri Lalithambika, Lord Vishnu,Lord Dhanvantri and Lord Shiva.
After completion of the first phase of Eradication of Terrorism and negative energies from the universe by conducting a year long puja, homam, abhishekam, archanas, anna dhaanam, vastra dhaanam, etc at various places around the country and abroad, Shri Guruji Maharaj (Shri PS Varadarajan) has received directions from Goddess Parashakti to take up the second phase of providing wealth and prosperity to the universe and removal of human sufferings to conduct 30 Laksharchana each to Goddess Lalithambika, Lord Maha Vishnu , Maha Dhanvantri and Lord Shiva at various places around the world.
All of us have our desires and needs and we offer prayer to various Gods and Goddesses to provide us health, wealth and prosperity. Various factors govern the destiny and our well being is based on karma and other factors like the deeds of our forefathers, the pujas and offerings we made to God, the sins we committed. It is our deeds (Karma) in this Janma which can reduce the malefic effects and offering prayers to gods and goddesses can reduce even remove the dosha of our previous births.
Goddess Lalithambika an incarnation of Goddess Parashakti is provider of health , wealth, prosperity and all the worldly pleasures which one may desire and grants all boons to her devotees and is pleased by stuti i.e. prayer and praise. It is written in scriptures that in Kaliyuga, bhakti is the only source of hope for all human beings wherein offerings to almighty in the form of Puja, Archanas, Abhishekam, homam (havan), etc can bring an end to all miseries and bring prosperity to everyone.
Lord Dhanvantri the god of medicines helps us in removing all your diseases and protects us from new diseases like swine flu and other deadly diseases.

Pithru dosha comes to an individual due to non performance of last rites, non performance of Shraaddha karmas, pithru puja, tarpanam, etc and this affects upto seven generations. As these souls are not liberated and search for their salvation(Moksha/Mukti) they create problems for us to compel us seek solution from Saints, noble souls with whose help their souls would attain salvation.

Each human being should be grateful towards his parents, his teacher, the creator or Almighty for blessing him and taking care of him. We invoke the curses of our parents, teachers, others, etc due to our bad behaviour, misdeeds, etc towards them. All religions of the world say that the mother is an incarnation of God Almighty himself as he created mothers in the world as he himself could not be present at all places all the time. Veda says “Mathru devo bhava, Pithru Devo Bhava, Acharya Devo Bhava and so on. As all these people have been conferred the status of God any misdeeds towards them attracts curses and good deeds invoke their blessings which helps in our well being and prosperity. It is said even God can not forgive the sins committed against our parents, teachers, elders, etc. There are no remedies other than repentance and seeking forgiveness from these elders even though they have been unkind to us due to any reason.

Pithru Kopa, Pithru Shraapa comes to an individual due to ill treatment of one’s parents while they are alive, disobedience, hurting their feelings by one’s actions, words, deeds, etc. These acts change automatically into curses which affects not only the individual but his future seven generations.

Sufferings which one faces due to Pithru kopa/pithru shraapa.

• Facing obstacles in each and every step in day to day life.
• Severe diseases
• Delayed marriage
• Childlessness, impotency, etc
• Physically/mentally challenged children
• Economic, social difficulties
• Problems in job, career, business, etc
• Many other similar difficulties.

It is, therefore, duty of every human being to be honest and sincere in his actions. He should respect his parents, teacher, elders, etc. take care of them during their old age. He should try to be polite and nice towards all to avoid any curses due to misdeeds which may affect him as well as his future generations.

The Tao of Forgiveness

One day, the sage gave the disciple an empty sack and a basket of potatoes. ‘Think of all the people who have done or said something against you in the recent past, especially those who you cannot forgive.

For each of them, inscribe the name on a potato and put it in the sack.’

The disciple came up quite a few names, and soon his sack was heavy with potatoes.

‘Carry the sack with you wherever you go for a week,’ said the sage. ‘We’ll talk after that.’

At first, the disciple thought nothing of it. Carrying the sack was not particularly difficult. But after a while, it became more of a burden. It sometimes got in the way, and it seemed to require more effort to carry as time went on, even though its weight remained the same.

After a few days, the sack began to smell. The carved potatoes gave off a ripe odor. Not only were they increasingly inconvenient to carry around, they were also becoming rather unpleasant.

Finally, the week was over. The sage summoned the disciple. ‘Any thoughts about all this?’

‘Yes, Master,’ the disciple replied. ‘When we are unable to forgive others, we carry negative feelings with us everywhere, much like these potatoes. That negativity becomes a burden to us and, after a while, it festers.’

‘Yes, that is exactly what happens when one holds a grudge. So, how can we lighten the load?’

‘We must strive to forgive.’

‘Forgiving someone is the equivalent of removing the corresponding potato from the sack. How many of your transgressors are you able to forgive?’

‘I’ve thought about it quite a bit, Master,’ the disciple said. ‘It required much effort, but I have decided to forgive all of them.’

‘Very well, we can remove all the potatoes. Were there any more people who transgressed against you this last week?’

The disciple thought for a while and admitted there were. Then he felt panic when he realized his empty sack was about to get filled up again.

‘Master,’ he asked, ‘if we continue like this, wouldn’t there always be potatoes in the sack week after week?’

‘Yes, as long as people speak or act against you in some way, you will always have potatoes.’

‘But Master, we can never control what others do. So what good is the Tao in this case?’

‘We’re not at the realm of the Tao yet. Everything we have talked about so far is the conventional approach to forgiveness. It is the same thing that many philosophies and most religions preach – we must constantly strive to forgive, for it is an important virtue. This is not the Tao because there is no striving in the Tao.’

‘Then what is the Tao, Master?’

‘You can figure it out. If the potatoes are negative feelings, then what is the sack?’

‘The sack is… That which allows me to hold on to the negativity. It is something within us that makes us dwell on feeling offended…. Ah, it is my inflated sense of self-importance. ‘

‘And what will happen if you let go of it?’

‘Then… The things that people do or say against me no longer seem like such a major issue.’

‘In that case, you won’t have any names to inscribe on potatoes. That means no more weight to carry around, and no more bad smells.

The Tao of forgiveness is a conscious decision to not just to remove some potatoes… but to relinquish the entire sack.

Respected Sir,
It has been my family’s fortune to have met with Guruji Dr. PS Varadarajan at Sri Meenakshi Temple in Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi in the year 2006. My elder son Sunderarajan had got married in 2003 and was without a child. It was our dream to meet him and seek his guidance for completing my son’s long unfulfilled desire.

Guruji gave his guidance and blessings and advised us to perform Sumangali Puja ( Puja of Married Women and invoking their blessings, offering mangala dravya like bangles, turmeric, kumkum, Sarees, etc) and Shiva Puja and he would be praying for us and our family for our Gothra Vridhi(Vansha Vridhi).

On performing the above things, we could experience complete change in our day to day life and peace and prosperity returned our family. Within a year of performing the tasks advised by Guruji my daughter in law gave birth to a healthy child (our grand son) and we became proud grand parents.

Benifits of reciting Sri Lalitha sahasranamam
In this materialistic world, with an intention to create a mind devoted to mankind, sincere love, unity and by thus to God and avoid hatred and animosity towards our enemies, chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra Namam, a Sanskrit namavali from the ancient Brahmanda Purana, forms an integral part.

It is natural that, we mankind has to face many obstacles and set backs in our life. However, it is our will to conquer them makes us successful in our endeavours. We should have the Belief, Confidence and Determination to try for this. Some cases these qualities are in-born. But for many these are developed. A useful and beneficial method to develop this is by seeking solace in God by chanting prayers knowing their meanings. It will give the most advantageous
benefits if one chants keerthans and namavalis with their meanings in mind. He/She will be able to express more and get closer to God.

May I with the blessings of Goddess Sree Lalithambika (otherwise called as Durga ma, Kali ma, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Bhagavathi, etc,) list some of the benefits of regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranamavali.

This is the most favoured form of prayer to Goddess Lalithambika and it is also very secret and powerful than any other forms of Tantra or Mantra.

Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranama is as beneficial as visiting religious places, taking bath in a holy river, offering food, offering materials. It is an indirect blessing to those who cannot do these kind of offerings to God.
Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranama will ward off the evil from uncompleted pooja vidhis or rituals etc. It will also form a way of penance.
Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasranama will ward off premature death, will provide a long and contended healthy life. Fever can be cured by religiously chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasranamam by touching on a persons forehead. The number of times you chant the more benefit you are likely to get. The vibhuti/kumkum used for Sree Lalitha Sahasranama archana can be applied then on the forehead, which will give much relief to fever and headache.
It is said that if one chants religiously Sree Lalitha Sahasra Namam keeping a glass of water (or in a vessel) in front and then pours it over the head, all sorts of troubles related to once planetary
positions and from evil spirits will be warded off.
It is said that if a person chants Sree Lalitha Sahasranama keeping in mind a picture of Sree Lalitha Devi situated in the divine ocean which contains `Amrut’, he will be cured from any kind of disease related to poison.

It is said that if a person consumes ghee, which is kept while chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam, he will be cured of impotency and will have children.

Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam will ward off any kind of evil deeds or rituals (black magic) aimed at the person who chants the namam. The power derived from the chanting supersedes all other forms of prayers and the person will no more require to consult astrologers or any sorts of occultists. He will have tremendous self confidence in himself.
Through the regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam, the atmosphere will be purified. Each nerve in our body will be invigorated and subtle energies will be awakened in the person. Sree Lalitha Devi will protect a person who regularly chants Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam from accidents and from the attacks of enemy and will make him victorious in all his good deeds.

Regular chanting of Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam will make a person blessed with word power, fame, good will etc. Particular importance should be given to chant Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam on Friday’s
which is very auspicious for the blessing of Devi. Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam is the form of prayer that any one and
every one can chant at any time and every time. It does not matter if one could not complete it. Because each of the namam in itself is powerful and will provide all sorts of benefits. It depends on what you wish and how you go about it.

It is said that chanting the name of Lord Siva once is as good as chanting the name of Mahavishnu a thousand times. And chanting the name of Devi once is as good as chanting the name of Siva, a thousand times. And of which Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam is the most important one to Sree Lalitha Devi herself. It is very beneficial if all members of the family unite and chants Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam once in a day in the evening or whenever time permits. A family that prays together stays together. It will bring about unity, peacefulness, clear mind to perform and by thus
prosperity. In homes where Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam is chanted regularly there will never be any shortage of the basic necessities of life. This is the reason why the ancient Gurus would instruct their desciples to chant Sree Lalitha Sahasra namam even after initiating them into the mantras of other deities such as Lord Krishna, Lord Rama and other
Gods and Goddesses.
It is also to be noted that by religiously chanting Sree Lalitha Sahasra namavali, we are seeking the blessings of Sree Lalithambika, who is also called Kalima, Durga ma, Devi, Parasakthi, Bhagavathi etc, who in turns is the universal mother. And how can a mother ignore her children when they are in distress or duress or troubles of any sorts? So keep utmost faith in her and start chanting. Each one of the namam by itself is a powerful weapon for many sorts
of day-to-day problems. The importance and benefits and related stories of each one of them will be listed uccessively in our page as per the wish of Sree Lalithambika.
Lalitha Sahasranamam can be chanted in two different ways. One in Stotra form and the other in mantra form. In Stotram form, all 1,000 namams are separated into stotrams of a few namams each and recited in this way. In mantra form, each namam is said individually, preceded by “Aum” and followed by “Namah”. When chanted in mantra form, the endings of each namam are generally changed to “e” or “yai”. Mantra form is commonly used to recite
Lalitha Sahasranamam during archana. Both ways, however, are equally effective.

Mata Amritanandamayi, a modern-day Satguru, has said the following of chanting Lalitha Sahasranamam:

“Children, if we can do archana of the thousand names of the Divine Mother daily with devotion, we will grow spiritually. There will never be lack of life’s essentials, food and clothing, in a family that chants the Lalita Sahasranama with devotion.”
