CAR AC DO’S AND SON;TS

Hi,
No wonder more folks are dying from cancer than ever before.  We wonder where this stuff comes from but here is an example that explains a lot of the cancer causing incidents.  Hmmm.  Many people are in their cars first thing in the morning and the last thing at night, 7 days a week.   As I read this, it makes me feel guilty and ill.  Please pass this on to as many people as possible. Guess its not too late to make some changes
Car A/C (Air Conditioning) MUST READ!!!
Please do NOT turn on A/C as soon as you enter the car .
Open the  windows after you enter your car and turn ON the AC after a couple of minutes.
 Here’s why :
According to a research, the car dashboard, sofa, air freshener emit Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin (carcinogen – take time to observe the smell of heated plastic in your car).In addition to causing cancer, Benzene poisons your bones, causes anemia and reduces white blood cells. Prolonged  exposure will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer. Can also cause miscarriage. Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50mg per sq.ft. A car parked indoors with windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene. If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level. People who get into the car, keeping windows closed will inevitably inhale, in quick succession, excessive amounts of the toxin. Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidney and liver.. What’s worse, it is extremely difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff.
So friends, please open the windows and door of your car – give time for interior to air out -dispel the deadly stuff – before you enter.
Thought : ‘When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others

Happiness…… What is Happiness?
One on the most convincing pieces on happiness.

EIGHT CLUES TO HAPPINESS
By- KHUSHWANT SINGH
Having lived a reasonably contented life, I was musing over what a person should strive for to achieve happiness. I drew up a list of a few essentials which I put forward for the readers’ appraisal.
1. First and foremost is GOOD HEALTH. If you do not enjoy good health you can never be happy. Any ailment, however trivial, will deduct from your happiness.
2. Second, A HEALTHY BANK BALANCE. It need not run into crores but should be enough to provide for creature comforts and something to spare for recreation, like eating out, going to the pictures, travelling or going on holidays on the hills or by the sea. Shortage of money can be only demoralizing. Living on credit or borrowing is demeaning and lowers one in one’s own eyes.
3. Third, A HOME OF YOUR OWN. Rented premises can never give you the snug feeling of a nest which is yours for keeps that a home provides: if it has a garden space, all the better. Plant your own trees and flowers, see them grow and blossom, cultivate a sense of kinship with them.
4. Fourth, AN UNDERSTANDING COMPANION, be it your spouse or a friend. If there are too many misunderstandings, they will rob you of your peace of mind. It is better to be divorced than to bicker all the time.
5. Fifth, LACK OF ENVY towards those who have done better than you in life; risen higher, made more money, or earned more fame. Envy can be very corroding; avoid comparing yourself with others.
6. Sixth, DO NOT ALLOW OTHER PEOPLEto descend on you for gup-shup. By the time you get rid of them, you will feel exhausted and poisoned by their gossip-mongering.
7. Seventh, CULTIVATE SOME HOBBIESwhich can bring you a sense of fulfilment, such as gardening, reading, writing, painting, playing or listening to music. Going to clubs or parties to get free drinks or to meet celebrities is criminal waste of time.
8. Eighth, every morning and evening, devote 15 minutes to INTROSPECTION. In the morning, 10 minutes should be spent on stilling the mind and then five in listing things you have to do that day. In the evening, five minutes to still the mind again, and ten to go over what you had undertaken to do.
RICHNESS is not Earning More, Spending More Or Saving More, but …
“RICHNESS IS WHEN YOU NEED NO MORE”
According to Vedas three utmost important things for happiness of a man are
  1.  Nirogi Kaya- which means healthy body
  2. Gunvati Naarii- a companion full of virtues and qualities
  3. Putra Sadachari evam Agyakaari-  obedient children full of high moral character

rest all are creation of man’s own hard work and attitude.

9 STEPS TO GOOD DECISION

Its true that you are the product of your own thoughts and decisions. Whatever you decide on daily basis, whatever you do in your routine life is directly or indirectly linked to your future. That means you are making the foundation of your destiny with your decision and actions in your routine life. So by looking at the bigger picture, it is right to conclude that decision making is critically important for your success and achievements of lifetime goals.  Given below is the list of insightful factors which you need to considere while making decisions.
1.     Consider the short term and long term consequences: Whether the decision is materialistic or a sensitive family matter. You have to consider short terms and long terms benefits.
2.    Cost Vs quality if applicable. If you intend to purchase something, consider cost, quality, warranty perspectives. Usually cheep products have less life and bad quality but is not the case always. To cope up with this, define your budget and then carefully analyze all the options which are falling within your budget.
3.    Need Vs wants analysis: Are you purchasing for pleasure or it is your long term need. Remember this is a difference between pleasure and happiness. Sometimes pleasure dost not last long so you don’t want to spend a lot for the sake of short time pleasure. If you are in Need of something then consider point-1 and point-2.
4.    Consider emotions: This is quite sensitive aspect. You have to put yourself in everyone’s shoes to understand his/her emotions. You don’t want to hurt someone with your decision,  instead you want to keep your stake holders emotionally satisfied. Emotional Intelligence is an art; learn it by reading on internet. To understand people you have to have true sense of judging people
5.    Consider Win-Win:  A balanced approach in which everyone gains is always recommended.
6.    Consider all options: Don’t stop your brain on one idea or approach. Think about more options. Seek advice from others on different possible solutions of the given situation/problem. to the problems which need decisions.
7.    Ask for criticism: If possible ask for criticism before implementing the decision. Although it’s never too late to ask forcriticism even after your decision. Feedback always helps in your future.
8.    Learn to differentiate between Urgent and Important tasks. Read my article Urgent and Important.
9.    Closely observe others: Think about what your friend/colleague/acquaintance did under a specific condition. A wise man always learns from the mistakes of others.

A pomegranate a day keep Cardiologist away | Harikrishnamurthy’s Weblog:

‘via Blog this’

Two things are full of benefits for the human being, lukewarm water and pomegranate.

Pomegranate is a seasonal fruit in Pakistan so I tried an experiment with dried pomegranate seeds.

I prepared a decoction boiling the fistful of dried seeds in half litre of water for 10 minutes, squeezed the seeds, strained the decoction and advised those patients suffering from painful angina to use a glass of lukewarm decoction on an empty stomach in the morning.

Amazing result was observed, the decoction of dried pomegranate seeds worked like a magic, the feelings of tightness and heaviness of chest and the pain had gone.

It encouraged me to try more experiments on all types of cardiac patients so I tried other experiments on patients who were suffering from painful angina, coronary arterial blockage, cardiac ischemia (insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle) etc, waiting for a bypass surgery.  The same lukewarm decoction was used on an empty stomach in the morning. The patients experienced quick relief in all symptoms including painful condition.

In another case of coronary arterial blockage the patient started using half glass of fresh pomegranate juice everyday for one year, although all symptoms were completely relieved within a week but he continued taking it for a whole year, it completely reversed the plaque build-up and unblocked his arteries to normal, the angiography report confirmed the evidence.

Thus decoction of dried pomegranate seeds, fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning proved to be a miracle cure for cardiac patients.  But the lukewarm dried seeds decoction proved to be more effective compared to eating a whole pomegranate or fresh pomegranate juice.

Use of pomegranate in any way has demonstrated even more dramatic effects as blood thinner, pain killing properties for cardiac patients, lowers LDL (low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol) and raises the HDL (high-density lipoprotein or good cholesterol). There are more than 50 different types of heart diseases, the most common being coronary artery disease (CAD), which is the number one killer of both women and men in some countries, and there has been no medicinal cure for this disease.
Many cardiac patients have reversed their heart diseases on my advice using one glass of lukewarm decoction of pomegranate dried seeds, half glass of fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning.  It was the very first real breakthrough in the history of cardiology to successfully treat the cardiac diseases by a fruit.

The more super foods to obtain the even faster results for cardiac patients which are most promising curative and protective agents like fresh raisins, quince, guava, prunes (dried plums), natural vinegar, mixture of grape fruit juice and honey in the morning (empty stomach), basil leaves, chicory leaves, powder of oregano leaves and rock salt in equal quantity (in case the patient is not hypertensive) and sesame oil as cooking oil for cardiac patients.

It is regretted to say that treating the heart patients and bypass surgery has become far more profitable business around the world which has failed to help avert life threatening heart attacks and life time cardiac complications resulting in almost paralyzed life. A regular use of pomegranate in any way ensures a healthy cardiac life, thinning your blood, dissolving the blood clots and obstruction inside the coronary arteries, maintains an optimal blood flow, supports a healthy blood pressure, prevents and reverses atherosclerosis. (Thickening of the internal lining of the blood vessels) from whatever I experienced and observed in last several years, I can say:

“A pomegranate a day keeps the cardiologist away” you can try and see the wonder

Om Ganeshaya Namaha.

Vakrathunda Mahakaya Surya Koti Samaprabha,

Nirvignam Kurume Deva, Sarva Karyeshu Sarvada.

Meaning “ oh Lord Ganesha, the remover of all obstacles, one with broken tusk, large bodied but very simple to be pleased, brighter than millions and millions of Suryas the Sun, Oh Lord please remove all vigna i,e. obstacles from all that I attempt  and grant me success.

Let us begin the story of Lord Ganesha

It is said that “Goddess Parvati wanted to take bath in her abode at Kailash, she asked on of the Shiva Ganas (Ganas are ardent devotees of Lord Shiva who have been allotted duties by Lord Shiva to serve him at his abode) to guard the gates so that no one disturbs her during her bath. It so happened that Lord Shiva had some urgent work and wanted to talk to Goddess Parvati. He rushed to meet her at her abode in Kailash, as Lord Shiva was Goddess Parvati’s husband and the Shiva Gana guarding the gates was a devotee of Lord Shiva, he did not stop Lord Shiva from entering, nor did he inform Lord Shiva that Mother Parvati was taking bath in pond inside the abode. When Lord Shiva came rushing in toi the place where mother Parvati was taking bath, all the women courtiers and Goddess Parvati were very ashamed. Lord Shiva being so simple or Bhola Nath as he is fondly called did not understand why there were so many outcries. Goddess Parvati covered her and came out the pond and Lord Shiva forgot what he wanted to tell her. He rushed back without saying a word. The mother was filled with anger and shame as the Gana did not perform his duty nor did he warn her about Lord’s arrival. The lady courtiers, assistants of Mother were also ashamed being in awkward position before Lord Shiva. There was no privacy. They all felt that they should have some one who was more loyal to the Mother and would protect and guard them,   one who would obey Goddess Parvati always.

Goddess Parvati took out some Turmeric, made an idol of small boy, and infused life into that turmeric boy. The Turmeric Boy bowed Goddess Parvati and Goddess Parvati asked him to be on guard outside and let no one enter abode without her permission.

The boy stood outside her abode with a mace (Gadha). Lord Shiva who after sometime remembered what he wanted to say to Goddess Parvati, rushed back to her abode but he was stopped by the small boy standing outside her abode. Lord Shiva tried to cajole him, convince him that he was the husband of Goddess Parvati but the boy did not listen to the Lord. The boy was firm in his stand that without the permission of mother Parvati he would not budge an inch. Lord Shiva was angry but did not want to pick up fight with a small boy so he returned to his abode in Kailash and sent Nandi and Bringi two of his most confidents to convince the boy. But Nandi and Bhringi too failed to convince the boy and when they started to threaten the boy, the boy beat them both with his mace so much that they had to run back to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva could not control his anger on the unruly behaviour of the boy and wanted to punish him. He cut the boy’s head with his trishul. When goddess Parvati could not control her emotions when she heard that Lord Shiva had cut off the head of the boy. She came out running and confronted Lord Shiva that how could he cut off the head of his own son who was placed outside her abode to guard her abode. Lord Shiva realised his mistake and ask hisGanas to search for a head for his son as it was cut off and destroyed. His ganas travelled northwards and found one baby elephant . they cut of its head and took it to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva placed the head of the elephant on the body of the boy and infused life again in the body. All the Devis and Devatas blessed and showered boons on the boy. The boy was called by diiferent names. He was made the head of all ganas, so he was called Ganesha, as he had elephant head he was Gajanana. He was also given the status of Prathama vandita or one who is given the first offering. His shape is likeOmin Sanskrit, the Pranava( Soul). As Deva Rishi Narada said, it was all the manisfestation of Maha Deva the supreme Lord who wanted to create an image of himself and Goddess Parvati for removal of all obstacles of their devotees.
